6/23/04 UPDATE! "Sucking Amps" is now up on the Discovery Channel TV schedule. It will be shown on cable at 8PM and 11PM on Wednesday June 30th and 1PM on July third. Check your local listings. It may be on a different time on disc.

In our opinion...

This opportunity to demonstrate powerful electric vehicles to such a large audience is unprecedented. Encourage others to tune in and see how the Suck Amps Race Team has secured their place in EV history. Viewers can learn the brave new world of EV's from some of the most respected and colorful personalities in the business!

While labeling those involved as "electro-nerds" or "backyard engineers" may make good ad copy, the cast would be better described as can-do “geniuses” and “electro-wizards” who ask “Why not?” instead of “Why?”

That is why they are legends among electric vehicle enthusiasts.
