(Photo courtesy Feel Good Cars)TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - May 6, 2006) - The all-new ZENNTM (Zero Emission No Noise) Electric Luxury Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) from Feel Good Cars, Inc. will be unveiled at the Clean Cities Congress and Expo 2006 in Phoenix May 7th to 10th.

The ZENN is the first of its kind. Unlike other LSVs that are golf cart-like, the ZENN is a fully enclosed LSV or NEV (Neighborhood Electric Vehicle) with real doors, electric windows and door locks, adjustable seats, rear window defroster and windshield wipers. The ZENN meets or exceeds the federal regulation (FMVSS500) for the category.

At 1,280 pounds, the ZENN weighs less than other LSVs and is powered by a 72-volt system with batteries and a built-in charger, which helps it outperform the competition in acceleration and hill climbing. To charge its batteries, the ZENN just plugs into a regular 15-amp wall socket and fully charges overnight.

The markets for the ZENN include drivers in planned communities, urban core commuters, drivers who participate in auto share programs, users on university or corporate campuses, communities on islands, environmentally sensitive areas such as parks and car rental companies. The ZENN is also intended for fleet and environmentally aware buyers, as well as "Urban Pioneers" - those inner-city dwellers who need protection from the elements and something more versatile than a scooter but not a gas guzzling high-speed car - and who currently can't travel with the degree of comfort that the ZENN can now provide. Each 100 miles driven in a ZENN displaces three gallons of gasoline and eliminates over 60 pounds of CO2 emissions.

"By driving a ZENN you cut emissions, not comfort or performance. With its European styling and appointments, you also don't have to give up style to feel good while you drive" says Ian Clifford, CEO of Feel Good Cars.

LSVs are a class of vehicle created by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) allowing vehicles to travel on roads marked 35 mph or less, at a maximum speed of 25 mph. In order to qualify as an LSV, certain equipment must be standard on the vehicle. These are a safety-glass windshield, mirrors, seatbelts, front and rear multi-function taillights, wiper blades, and turn signals, parking brakes, headlights and Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs).
