 TALLMADGE, OH-Myers Motors LLC unveiled a pricing program as revolutionary as its three-wheel electric vehicle, the NmG.
"We were very careful pricing this vehicle," said Dana Myers, president of Myers Motors. "While there are other electric vehicles available at high prices, we resisted the urge to jack up our price to their levels, even though we are confident we have the nation's best electric-powered vehicle."
As the final pricing decision was made, Myers Motors put the buyer and the technology first. "Many people have shown interest in buying our vehicle at any price, but we felt we had to set a price making the NmG an economically prudent choice," Myers explains. "Also, our reasonable price enables more people to drive the NmG, reaffirming in a very tangible way our commitment to start the revolution towards 'No more gas' travel."
Under the program, Myers Motors offers the NmG at three pricing levels:
$24,900! Brand New Vehicle with less than 300 miles (Myers Motors drives the vehicle's initial miles, ensuring every NmG starts off with a balanced battery pack that has been properly broken in for longer life and better performance).
$22,500! New vehicle with "ambassador agreement." Buyers purchasing an NmG at this very attractive price agree to help spread the valuable Myers Motors message by:
- Allowing 3-inch high "MyersMotors.com" lettering on both sides of the vehicle for one year.
- Handing literature to the many people who will approach them with questions and comments about their vehicle.
- Being a host for three events in their city by allowing their vehicle to be available for test rides and demonstrations.
- Providing feedback to Myers Motors on how it can help power the electric vehicle transformation, our country needs. This feedback will include comments on vehicle performance, people's reactions, or the names of people and companies interested in owning an NmG.
$19,900! Evaluation vehicles (3) with less than 3000 miles each. Vehicles have been upgraded to brand new specifications, with some battery wear.
$18,900! Pre-owned vehicles (2) with less than 4000 miles on them. Vehicles have been upgraded to brand new specifications, with some battery wear.
The single-passenger, three-wheeled NmG has outstanding acceleration, can reach speeds of 70 mph and has a range of 30 miles between charges.
